Welding Safety: Radiation

Everyone has heard that radiation can cause cancer. Nuclear radiation can cause all kinds of cancer. Radiation from the sun can lead to skin cancer. One of the first things that any welder should learn as far as welding safety is that welding exposes a welder to ultraviolet radiation. This is the same kind of radiation that a person gets from the sun.
